I may be wrong! But I don't care and I don't feel sorry for him if he can't make any money in Mexico.

Without the fans there would be no Margarito in the ring. Margarito would be a man, but not a boxer. He needs to prove himself in the ring when the boxing commission does give him his rights back in the states. He shouldn't fight for a title his first time back, no way! He should have to fight his way back up through the ranks... But as a boxing fan I give that right to the boxing commission to decide, whether or not I disagree; It is ultimately up to those in charge. I will be personally unhappy/ semi-mad to see him get a title shot his first time back in the states, but its not up to me. Good luck defending a known cheater... No Props.

He already fought, it wasn't for a title.

      Shane Mosley says hello.

Well, I'm not much for having female traits, so I don't worry about other dudes money.

I'm not worrying about his money. I don't think he should be allowed to fight anywhere in the US and earn millions of dollars. Stay in Mexico. Fight whoever. Cheat dont cheat. I don't care.

Sorry I thought it was obvious that I meant when he fights back in the states, since I stated that, but I guess not. I guess it was a bit wordy eh?

              he didn't have loaded gloves.

You would have had a better impact on the world if you were just skeeted on the sheets instead.

It was proven in court you ****! Margarito was found guilty of having an illegal substance in his wraps, therefore, his license was taken away for a year and now that he can re-apply to get it back he avoids the comission and fights bums in Mexico...makes me sick!

Let's step aside and just examine the facts. Margarito was found to have illegal substances in his hand wraps before the Mosley fight. He was given a minimum of a one year suspension by the CSAC. The reality is that he is still suspended, as he has no license to box anywhere in the United States. So now it has been almost a year and a half and counting, with only a minor fight in Mexico to sustain him.

There is zero evidence that he has ever actually hit another boxer with loaded gloves. People now are pointing fingers at the Cotto fight as well as others. Chronic cry babies like Kermit Cintron actually think that he is still unbeaten even after twice losing decisively. People point to the facial damage to Cotto as proof. That overlooks the fact that Cotto was hit plenty in that fight and has a history of suffering facial damage in fights.

One of the common arguments against Margarito is that he hasn't shown enough remorse or contrition to be forgiven. That overlooks the fact that Margarito has steadily denied any knowledge of wrongdoing. He has fired his trainer and sat out his year off. Why would he apologize for something he has claimed he was unaware of? That would reveal him as both a cheater and a liar. Many will say it is impossible for him not to know what was in his handwraps, but some fighters (including Shane Mosley) have said it is very possible not to notice while focusing on a pending fight. That raises enough doubt to satisfy me. People are also ignoring that in every previous fight, the wrapping of his hands were signed off on by both the state commission and the opponents' representative. So, are we to believe that Nazeem Richardson was the only one sharp enough to catch this?

Having viewed Margarito's comeback fight in Mexico, it was apparent that the wrapping of his hands was being carefully scrutinized. No doubt that it would be at least as thorough in any fight in the US. It is time to credit Margarito for time served and give him his license to fight in America. He didn't get away with anything. He should now be allowed to ply his trade and make a living.

Horrible article. Anyway, answer me these 2 things....... #1 lets say Manny Pacquiao was 2 agree 2 the osdt vs Floyd and happens 2 fail a test, are you telling me that questioning wether Pacquiao has been a dirty fighter for a while now up until he got caught unfair???? #2 what if Pacquiao agrees and passes all tests. We all know he's 100% clean and then the night of the fight comes, he loses every single round like Margarito did vs Shane and then gets ktfo. Would that look suspect 2 any1????

                    Thats quite conflicting.

Your concern is about how he makes his bread.

                    You're worried about it.
