Last month, WBC welterweight titlist, Andre Berto (pictured at right), rose to 26-0, with 20 knockouts when he scored an eighth-round stoppage over former world champion, Carlos Quintana (27-3, 21 KOs).
Quintana represented the third straight southpaw faced by Berto, with the first two being Luis Collazo (30-4, 15 KOs), and, Juan Urango (22-3-1, 17 KOs), respectively, in January, and, May of 2009, respectively.
In a recent interview with FanHouse, Collazo called out Berto, who won by unanimous decision. The 29-year-old Collazo is coming off of June's sixth-round, knockout of David Gogichaishvili. Collazo's other losses were by decision to Ricky Hatton and Shane Mosley.
