Fighters at 154 better beware of this guy. Assuming his skills haven't diminished much from when we last saw him. Also the weight. I remember reading something a lil while back about him weighing 220 pounds at 1 point during his incarceration.

If he has really pulled a Hatton and weighs 220 he might be done.

They might turn him into a better person but i think the street mentality and hardness he gets in east austin makes him the fighter that eveyone loves.. just enjoy it while you can..war james

James Kirkland is a hell of a fighter I think. I just don't know if he has slipped since being locked up. Try to think about Alvarado and when you see his fights he looks good. Kirkland may end up the same way. Maybe none of this time away hurt him.
