If anyone has purchased this issue, the one with David Haye on the cover, read the Sergio Martinez article, it's a great read, it tell's about how much bad luck he had when he was young do to his movie star looks, how he had to quit school as a teen to get a job, and how with boxing he has finally gotten his chance and how all the experiences he had to overcome it has made him fearless of anyone in boxing. It really is a great article.

Just got the Mag tonight, I'll be reading it tomorrow or the next day.
By the way u can get a 1 year subscription for 29.95 here, comes out to under 3 dollars per magazine. Only downside is the first one gets to you in about 3 months but for the price it's worth the wait.

The Ring really needs to figure out how to cut cost or how to create a package deal for a # of issues because boxing makes it hard as it is for its fans.
$7 for The Ring, $26-30 for HBO and Showtime, $20-100 for the internet, and from $0 to $120 in a month. Add that to the necessary cable (ESPN2, FSN en Espa~ol) and electric bill and
I love boxing though, when it's at its best no other sport can touch it (do I really have to compare Escalante-Roman to every other sports' best?). **** when it's regular, it's better than most other sports, a lot of people liked Cotto-Foreman.

i said that in a thread a few weeks back
at it's best their isn't a sport on the planet that can touch it for excitement and drama (Gatti vs Ward, Corrales v Castillo, Hagler v Hearns, Rumble in Jungle, Tyson etc etc) at it's worst it is the most frustrating sport to be a fan of.......think corruption, home cooking, inept judging etc etc.
