Why would we assume that? Lets not make assumptions. If Vitaly retired right now, I don't think he would be an ATG at least not in my book. I think Wlad has a better claim then Vitaly.

Thus choose wisely the one opponent with the greatest chance to KO Wladimir Klitschko without himself getting KOed.

This is a "Time Machine into the Past" match-up (= the current Wladimir Klitschko is being sent back through time to meet the original ATG).

If you think that several can do the job, then of course choose the one with the highest chances.

Lewis had the size, power, athleticism and talent to do it. Lewis will be able to put constant pressure on Vlad that others today are having a hard time to do. It would be a mismatch as Vlad has been known to collapse under pressure, has been known to have stamina problems and has a very very suspect chin.....

Of course, some of those other guys can do it too but Lennox has the size advantage that would make me think that he has the edge over any of the other guys.
