Pascal is a good fighter, He could beat Dawson but it would be very difficult. He has shorter arms and does get hit more than Dawson. We will have to wait and see but I think Pascal is a good test for him...

But I agree, If he can drop down to 168 then he should. There is alot more names at the weight and a fight with Bute would be big. Thing is Dawson is still hoping on getting a fight with B-Hop, I think he will proberbly stay at LHW...

Even if he can drop down. LHW is the most comfortable weight for him so don't be suprised if he sticks around. He could move down but when he is the best LHW he might not see much reason to drop the weight. When he is at a division which is there for him to dominate...

Pascal's a fine opponent, proved it against Froch and then Diaconu twice. Looking forward to that fight. Fighting Bute and Pascal will do almost identical things for Dawson, money will probably be similar too. He still won't be marketable or known in the United States fighting either opponent.

One other thing to remember Pascal is semi proven at LHW, Bute would be a wild card

It would beat interesting, of course after he beat Pascal. He is in a bad situation, his weight class sucks, he's too inactive and he just don't have a "fan friendly style". He should go to SMW, beat Bute and have some easy fight like Stieglitz while he waits for the Super Six winner. He's just an excellent fighter who deserves better.
