Hope for a speedy recovery , if it's a big major injury that a long surgery is needed he mite as well hang em up and look forward to being a rabbi.don't think he can come back to have an impact at 154.he has the heart but depending on how bad the injury is how effective will he be .

He might as well retire. It was braced up before the fight and I heard this has always been a problem. Very dangerous to keeping poking at that knee.

The meniscus isn't that serious of an injury. I believe he will be fine with some good rehab time. He will back in the ring to do his business and his Rabi duty as well.

          I hope he recovers well.

Burner remember i told you he had tore something? Them type of falls soccer and football players get them all the time. You can tell when someone rips something just by the way they go down. People who don't give this man credit is are crazy. Any athlete who rips their knee goes straight to the hospital and gives up on the game. Props to yuri i heard him get up's on the dan patrick show even

I guess this make Mercante look like a genius. He made a lame boxer keep fighting when he couldn't even defend himself. I'm sure it didn't help his leg any. Mercante got off real easy for this farce, IMO.

As soon as Cotto dropped him he didn't even count because he new Yuri couldn't do anything so pulled him out. Explain how that's a farce, if it was you in the ring would it have been such a farce ?
If I had a severely injured knee and not even a realistic punchers chance, I would hope my corner or the ref stopped the fight. That extra time putting pressure on his leg may have made the difference in Yuri needing surgery or not. Maybe even ruined his career.
