    Someone please enlighten me!

what does every1 see in Paul Williams to suggest he will become an ATG fighter? realistically the way his career is panning out he will struggle to make the ibhof. i dont know if its down to mis-management or maybe some1 else in his camp advising him but his career is not moving the way it should.
personally i feel all this "fight in any weightclass" thing is a big factor. i would like to see him stay in 1 division unify and then let the big names come up. if they want a title they will have to come see him!
last thing from a technical standpoint i think his defence will be his undoing! he disregards shots but IS buzzed by them. i think fighting for so long with such physical advantages over his comp may now become a hindrance.

    just a few thoughts.

    opinions?

no big names are calling him out either. They arent really giving him a chance to prove him self.

thats the point i was making. he could easily get fights made with the other 154 champs outside of Cotto. Unify the titles you then think Miguel wouldnt wanna fight him for ALL the marbles? or if Pac wants that 8th title hes gotta come knocking on his door!

I can agree with some of what you say. I think he is a good fighter, and has the make up to be an exciting fighter to watch. Do i think he is a bit overrated by some.. yes. He doesn't have the so called "Boxing Skills" that are amazing, because if you notice he is very wild (IMO) which leads to him getting caught allot. BUT!..This is what makes him exciting to watch. I also think he has a marketability that hasn't been touched, or fully exposed.

At this point in his career he is overrated in the sense of being this amazing fighter, but do it think he has the potential for that?..i do.

PW reminds me of Michael Nunn, but with less talent.
