Margarito has an iron chin and will be unfazed by whatever Pac throws at him. Margarito throws alot of punches and has set compubox highs before so he will put Pac under more pressure than Mayweather.

I don't think you understand boxing is a sport. The point of boxing is to hit and not get hit. To say it another way boxing is about landing more punches than your opponent and taking the least (between you and your opponent) amount of damage.

To be honest I actually agree with you. Margarito will tower over Pac, has an incredible chin, intense work rate and has underrated technical skills.

I honestly think Pac will maul Mayweather to a stoppage in the 10th if they fought. With Margarito I have no idea.

How is Pac going to MAUL Floyd when he couldn't MAUL JMM? I use JMM as my example because JMM is fundamentally sound and can box. Floyd is better than JMM in just about every category (proved this when they fought).

How is Pac going to maul a fighter with Floyd's speed, instincts and counterpunching abilities?

Now Pac may MAUL Margarito because Margarito is a BUM with no defense, no jab, no head movement and hasn't proven to be an effective counterpuncher.

Pac will never maul Floyd because Pac will be too worried about a counterpunch he may not see coming.

The only thing Margarito has on Pacquiao is size but style wise he is tailor made for Pacquiao. Slow starter who beats opponents with constant pressure. The problem is that Pacquiao is a fast starter and his in and out style destroys those pressure fighters. Pacquiao will probably beat Margarito like Mosley did and not to mention Pacquiao is definitely faster than Mosley. The fact that Margarito has an iron chin may make the fight interesting however, or it could make the fight into a great highlight reel for Pacquiao. Mayweather's much tougher because his approach is very cerebral and his speed matches Pac's. Also Mayweather is a great counterpuncher and counterpunchers are Pacquiao's kryptonite especially those who can time his rush ins. They completely shut his offense down and force him back and Pacquaio can't fight going backwards. Mayweather is a much much tougher fight for Pacquiao

As far as punishment goes I think the margarito fight would be tougher but he probably will win. The mayweather fight will be tougher on his legacy because the way he will be outboxed and his offense rendered useless. When mayweather dominates you people dont say he is just better than you they say his is superior and his opponent didnt even belong in the same ring as him. They say he is in a whole different class then them. He can fight margarito and probably beat him and add to the farce of the opinion that he can beat mayweather. Mayweather takes away his opponents best assets. Mosely (even at his age) is still fast and dangerous, not many fighters would have taken those shots he landed on Floyd. After he adjusted, Mosley's workrate and punch stats were at an all time low. Floyd has this affect on everyone who gets in the ring with him. Nothing will change with Pac, except that with Pac's aggresion and Floyd's style, Floyd just may score a knockout similiar to the way he knocked Hatton out. and no i am not comparing Pac to Hatton.
