You do not know what you're talking about. Shane chose Grant gloves. He was his choice he felt comfortable with them and decided to go with Grant.

Yes Granted are not gloves that punchers wear. Maybe Grant made a special glove for him that are punchers glove. I don't know... Looking back at it, it might have been a mistake he should of went with the Everlast gloves he was going to use. But, he went with Grant and nobody forced him to that, it was his own choice.
