I agree, like saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
It all depends on the fighter you are putting under the microscope.
    I'm looking at Floyd's, and it's saying a lot...

      why

If I offered you a price I think is fair and you refused, do you think it fair to hold me to that price months later if I have other offers on the table or I simply no longer want to deal with you?

        3 tests
        30 days
        24 days

        ok ok really

        14 days

I mean Manny's supporters see this as Manny trying to make this fight happen but the opposite could have been said at the time the initial talks were happening on Mayweather's part

        I mean look at it

all the stips Manny had, Floyd agreed to okay that shows that the things Manny's side is asking is fine for Floyd

the one stip they could not agree on, Mayweather's stip for OST, they haggle over.

        now

initially it was 3 tests nothing more

then it became 30 days out because it weakens Manny or whatever, fine Manny is trying to compromise I think that's a fair assumption to make from even the Floyd fans

then it became 24 days HBO had video of Manny taking a blood test 24 days out from his fight with Hatton. This right here, is not a concession my friends, this is an admittance of being caught doing something you said would adversly affect you in a fight with Mayweather

that I am sorry is as clear as day. This number wouldn't have come up had it not been for the footage HBO had

then when all things broke down, Mayweather made one last pitch of 14 days, 50-50, let's get this fight done. Manny's side said no for whatever reason

okay, Mayweather on Feb 13th said **** it this offer is off the table

then this past month Manny now says 14 days is okay by him.

but again how do you accept an offer that had been off the table since Feb?

        like I said before

Manny's first NEW offer: 14 days
Mayweather's first NEW offer: up to the day

somewhere in between is the answer

E, i know where Floyd stands with it

like i told Gambler, 14 days is a starting point for negotiations

i dont understand what the big deal is

          • 14 days is Manny's new starting point. Zero is Floyd's. Let's see what happens.

If they can't compromise from there they deserve to be without the large pile of cash they should be making (well they will both make a large pile of cash anyways but each pile would be much smaller).

Unfortunately it isn't January and Pac isn't coming off the Cotto win, it's obvious that the situation has changed and Pacquiao's team better be ready to make some more compromises if Mayweather's team decides they want full random blood testing, because Mayweather's side is holding the better hand at this point.

What i still don't understand from Pac's camp though is why do they continue asking for a cut off date if the saw that even though the May/Mosley fight testing was random, the blood testing did stop a few weeks before the fight. This whole negotiation has been held up not because there will be testing 2 weeks before the fight, or 1 week, or the same day but because of the possibility of there being tests that close.
how much cheating can be done in 14 days?

that's only 2 weeks. actually less considering there is also gonna be an after fight bloodtest.

if the purpose of the testing is to prevent and catch cheating a 14 day cutoff should suffice.

why pac wants that cutoff , who really knows?

either way the purpose (catching ped's or preventing ped's) of the testing is being met.

fighters slow down training a week before the fight.

with tests up to 2 weeks before the fight and a post fight test , there really is no way ped's can be used or even if it is would it help.

contradictions.. this guy doesnt even know what hes defending.. just spouting out of his ass finding ways for mak to "hop off his ****"

                    • People are making too big of a deal with Pacquiao agreeing to the tests now. Those who say he should go through the "FULL TESTING", keep in mind if you're talking about actual blood testing, that could all end before a 14 day cut off anyway, so what's the difference? The truth is, nobody here is in the negotiations to know exactly what the USADA, Pacquiao, or Floyd are going to agree to. Smart money says both guys will come to a compromise being they can't dodge the fight for whatever reasons it may be this time. Ego's will be forced to take a seat and I believe the fight will happen one way or the other.

...And Horus, you can narrow down the 15 paragraphs and paraphrase it to maybe...1 LOL.
