    Pacquiao Agrees To Mayweather’s Demands

    Mon 7-Jun-2010 11:33

According to promoter Bob Arum, Manny Pacquiao has agreed to undergo blood tests as per Floyd Mayweather Jr’s request so the onus is now on Mayweather whether or not he wants to fight it out for boxing’s pound for pound No.1 position.

The camps of Pacquiao and Mayweather had initially agreed to a ‘Super Fight’ earlier this year but the fight was scrapped when Mayweather demanded random blood tests which Pacquiao refused.

Arum says the Filipino superstar has now changed his mind leaving Mayweather Jr to decide if he now wants to take part in potentially the richest fight in boxing history.
"I’m telling you know, I’ve had long conversations with him, Manny Pacquiao’s first goal is to get Mayweather in the ring and this whole drug-testing nonsense - I think it was nonsense, but Manny has now agreed," said Arum.

"He’s agreed, so now that’s not an issue.

"So now the ball’s in Mayweather’s court and if Mayweather doesn’t fight him, that’s Mayweather’s decision and he has every right to make that decision.

"If I was Mayweather I wouldn’t want to fight Pacquiao either."

Should the fight happen Arum believes the only place for the fight to take place will be Las Vegas: "I live there and I’ve no problem with the fight being in Vegas, and I know Manny has no problem either,” said Arum .

"There are things that I know that you don’t about why Las Vegas will go to the last mile to get that fight and I would think that Las Vegas has to be the front runner."

yea, the wording from bob is ambiguous but it does say " Manny Pacquiao has agreed to undergo blood tests as per Floyd Mayweather Jr’s request"

but knowing bob, he's talking about the previous settlement offered of the 14 days.
