But once you fight in that weight class and are willing to fight other fighters like Mayweather at 147 why is there a need for the catchweight? Should Cotto have made Yuri fight him at 150, remember, Yuri was the guy Pac turned down becuase he was to tall for him... Your telling me that now Cotto should make Martinez fight him at a catchweight of 150, to defend his 154 belt. C'mon man, I don't even know why I entertain these discussions anymore because Pacquiao fans are always tunnel vision and refuse to listen to reason. You guy have selective memories, only want to use the case that enhances your case and you throw out anything anybody else says. The next thing I know I will have a million Pac fans calling me racist or dumb or some other ****** ****.

Welterweight's weight limit is 147 lbs .......If you're 140lbs+ you can still fight as a welterweight so long as you don't go over the 147 lbs on weigh in day.
Son the Junior middleweight or super middleweight 's has 154 lbs weight (LIMIT) it means you can be lower than that to a point, but not over it!!

So hello to you again ......Do you understand the concept of having catchweight son?..

It would be on a catchweight of 147 1/4 for the SWW title and another Diamond belt

I wouldn't mind him trying to get revenge.. I think he might be better in this fight but wont win...

There's plenty of other fights for Cotto... Mayweather.. Berto.. Chavez jr.. Pac isnt his only option..

But if it is pac i wouldnt want to see a catchweight..

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! Welterweight is from 141-147. Pac-Cotto was a welterweight fight. 145 is in between 141-147 right??

Cotto obliged to a 145 limit because he badly needs to fight Pac.....he knew he can beat the smaller guy for big money.

It should be at 154 if theres a catchweight i say 150+..I cant say Cotto will win but we'd see a totally different fight from the 1st one..

Ok, then why doesn't Pacquiao come in under and let his opponents come in at the limit?

A limit means that you cannot exceed that number. You do not have to be on the limit. You need to be on it or under. Pac can come in at whatever he wants.

Cotto - Pacquiao 2........................... should not happen under any circumstances.

Pacquiao is all wrong for Cotto and has already proved to be the better fighter.

Waste of a fight for both guys imo.
