Regarding Ortiz, he could at least have called GBP's bluff and said he would like to fight Ortiz next, at the post-fight presser of the Malignaggi fight, but he didn't even mention Ortiz, which was weird considering Ortiz was on his undercard.

I agree that Peterson and Mabuza would have been much more credible options than Casamayor, although I can understand why he wouldn't be particularly interested in fighting them in a voluntary defence, because only hardcore fans have heard of them. But either would have certainly been a much more meaningful test for him.

GBP claims he tried to make a fight with Katsidis but that Katsidis priced himself out of it.

Urango would have been a very good option - he's as well known as Casamayor is, and is still a legit top 5 Jnr Welterweight (according to The Ring's rankings), despite his loss to Alexander - and he's available. Plus he has good power and would be able to test Khan's chin. He would have been a far more credible opponent than Casamayor.

I see nothing wrong with this post you are right.Urango would be a great fight for Khan but I think Khan beats Urango.I would have wanted to see him in with a good boxer with pop.Casamayor may still have something left but I really doubt it.That KO by Marquez was burtal and most likely took everything from Casamayor we shall see.IMO it's a **** fight.

Lorily how you doing my pep's.Listen some people are fan's of a fighter and forget that there is a sport of Boxing that we are really talking about.The Hatton Tszyu fight was the last great Jr WW fight honestly.What fight was better then that one since that one?The Holt Torres fight was good,But was not the classic that the Hatton fight was because of how it was contested.Khan has not even had a great fight at any weightclass and people are already to crown this kid king of the court come-on.It's just all B.S.
