came back after 'retirement' and fought 2 old and faded fighters...
when is mayweather going to fight a fighter in his prime?

margarito previously destroyed margarito before mayweather and
marquez went up in weight and knocked out juan diaz and stopped casamayor
it's easy to say they are faded after floyd makes them look average but both guys can still beat alot of top opponents
styles make fights and they never had the style to beat floyd especially marquez who was clearly not at his best at welter
i think shane needs to retire though marquez hopefully has a few fights left in him -

I don't think so he has that plan after all. Check his last fights in the last 5 years.
Nov. 2006 - 35 years old Baldomir
May 2007 - 35 years old past his prime Oscar
Dec. 2007 - Hatton was ok but forced to move up on Floyd best weight. He should do the opposite to get much credit.
Dec. 2007-Sept. 2009 faked his retirement to avoid all prime elite welterweights openly challenging him.
Sept. 2009 - 36 years old JMM old past his prime, forced to move up 3 divisions above (catchweight) only to be cheated at the scale.
May 2010 - 38 years old Mosley old past his prime
And some other *****s still have the courage to contest Pac FOTD award.Last edited by whirlwind; 06-07-2010, 09:28 AM.Comment

Mosley was still a more respectable opponent to face then Cotto and Berto. He may not have been in his prime, but neither is Floyd. You can't discredit that win.Comment
