I gotta say, Yankee Stadium is a novel idea but I don't see how the fans in the mid to upper tiers enjoyed the fight on Saturday. The ring was somewhere in centerfield!

I was surprised too. There was almost no Foreman fans tbh until he fought. I looked towards the ring and all of a sudden a bunch of the empty seats were full of Foreman fans.

I'm happy about it though, Like Max says, until a fighter makes fans think he's the "truth", he shoulder be praised. Nor should he be forced on us as the next star.

There was no way there was 25% of Yuri supporters. There was probably 500-1000 tops there in support for Yuri. Very small crowd for him.

I was sitting up in the very last row for a while and it wasn't that bad. It was a good view and nothing was in your way. Sure, you were a distance away but you can see all the punches being thrown and tell what landed and what didn't. I moved down to get a better view though. Yankee Stadium has many areas for standing to get a nice view.

If Mayweathers live draws were equal to his PPV buys he would be filling big arenas every time he fights, since he can do a million buys a fight with his eyes closed now. Oscar and Tyson drew big PPV buys but their peaks at least ppv buy speaking isn't as big as what Floyd is now.
Lol, factoring in what the dollar was worth during Tysons reign to what it is now, Tyson bropught in far more money. The 30 million purses he would bring in in the 80s would be close to 70 million to todays dollar.

That's true but I don't remember saying Floyd is bigger than Tyson. Regardless, I do think he has crossed over better and is bigger than Oscar though. Mayweather right now in his peak keeps churning out million ppv buys, while Oscar in his prime was doing 300,000 here and 500,000 there. Tyson is probably bigger but Oscar isn't.

Ya think? I went up to the 400s during the undercard and the view from there was frightening.

                      Two thing:
Most of Yuris fans arrived just before his fight, because of the Shabbat

And they are more likely be less loud than the Puerto Ricans
