Mayweather Fan Thoughts On Floyd Taking A Break!

I just saw Floyd Mayweather's comments when visiting the make a wish kid about taking a couple of years off and felt sick! I've been a Mayweather fan for years, I've endured all sorts of criticism for it and I've defended him against most of it. If he indeed backs down from the Pacquiao fight and takes 2 years off again then that's something that I can't defend! I was all for him taking time off last time to allow his hands to heal because I know he's had problems with them but there's no reason for it this time. His performance against Mosley was amazing and really got me pumped for a fight with Pacquiao and now this. I hope it's just some strange negotiating tactic and he doesn't mean it but only time will tell.

He'll always be my favourite fighter because he is one of the most talented, naturally gifted boxers I've ever seen but I will lose a ton of respect for him if he walks away!

First, he said he "mite" take a break. Second, you can't take him serious all the time. Floyd is a smart dude, you don't get as far as he has being dumb.
He knew people would see that and run with it, you have to know this.

Team Mayweather has been keeping out of the media, all the talk has come out of Team Pac if you noticed. I think this was a way of getting attention without causing attention to negotiations.

    Its nothing

Mayweather is my favourite boxer currently, talented as **** but if he walks away he's a legitimate ducker.

Its nothing, Floyd says how he feels at the time. He probably did feel like he was sick of it. But id bet he feels different today, he's probably training now

I put in my first post that I hope it was some strange negotiating tactic and I hoped he wasn't serious but the rest of my thread was about my feelings 'IF' he goes through with it. Pac vs Floyd is the fight that the majority of boxing fans around the world want to see, Pac has backed down a little on his drug testing stance so if Floyd walks away then it's on Floyd for the fight not happening!

Didn't Floyd said he was gonna feed the "homeless" that's why he is taking a break? Sounds like a legit and noble cause for the Floyd camp.
