    Berto has a big chance of knocking out Cotto, so this is a fair matched up.

Berto is way faster than cotto, and at 147 has more power than cotto. But berto does get chinny sometimes because he rushes in with his face wide open. Cotto is almost always open to an uppercut and berto throws one of the most natural uppercuts I have seen.
            You sir are so wrong. First off the "old Cotto" not the one from this past sat fight would be hit with a lot of upper cuts. Emanuel has him more upright and he wasnt hit with a uppercut at all from what i seen on sat night against Froeman.

            Now to Berto strength's. Yes he is a good fighter and has won many fights. He was given a gift against Collazo. If Collazo schooled him and Collazo is just a opponent. What would a Skilled prize fighter like Cotto do to Berto? Cotto;s jab would keep Berto at a distance and in exchanges Berto would be hurt from body shots.

            Berto will bring some power up to 154 but not the sharper punching and combination to beat Cotto. Cotto looks much better under Emanuel's advice. I see Cotto only getting better (DEFENSE as well) and he would not take a beating like he has in the past.

            Cotto's 2 loses are against a man with plaster wraps and the #1 guy in the sport. Margaritto mugged Cotto with his wraps and Pac took advantage of his speed and combinations. Berto will lose this fight. It would be a entertaining fight with lots of action but Berto will lose. Once again if Collazo schooled Berto Cotto would mual him. The jab will school Berto early and the power shots will break him down.

              make this fight happen!!

              another war IMO;
              i mean berto isn't that great, but he's no pushover.
              plus he has one of the best uppercuts i've seen; a punch cotto is quite susceptible to.

                  Cotto was bodying shane Mosley and bullying him around the ring, Berto would get moved from post to pillar by Miguel. Berto is NOT stronger than Miguel. Cotto stops him mid to late rounds.

                    because of how mosley looked against floyd, that's a fight i think he's willing to take now.

                    but would be a bad fight for berto.

                      Miguel has much better options than Berto. Berto is a good fighter but he isn't that much of a step up from Foreman(money or legacy wise). Miguel should beat the **** out of Paul Williams instead. I'd ***ing love to see him knock the grasshopper down.
