  • Miguel Hoto would be KO'd by Floyd easily.

Hoto got hit by Corley and was staggered so bad he looked like he was stomping out a paper bag with a turd inside of it on fire on his front porch.

Floyd got a bit staggered too, but Hoto would never hit Floyd....but Floyd would be knocking Hoto's geri curl juice all the way into the 4th row. They'd have to give away tarps like at a Galagher show.

nobody is arguing there, but you gotta remember the kid is real young hes still fighting bums. He still got a long way to go, while mayweather is a seasoned pro

No dice. Cotto is claiming Champion status. If you're the "Champion", you're expected to be a King not a Prince.

        Is "Hoto" a derogatory statement?

im in no way a cotto fanboi..

but the punch corely caught him with wasnt just a regular hook

cotto had loaded up on a left or right hook and was coming in with it right when he got stuck. His leverage+his opponents leverage+his opponents shoulder strength with the connected punch. about 1200 pounds of power hitting you upside the head.

i think cottos chin is relatively good.. those kinds of punches will daze even the strongest chin, believe dat

I'd love to borrow your crystal ball so that I can get the skinny on the out come of the next ppv. How you can say that Cotto won't be able to get to Floyd is beyond me. First off Cotto got hit with a good shot from Chop Chop and he survived the round. Although the stoppage was premature the man didn't really look like he wanted to continue recieving the ass whoopin he was recieving. Next Floyd has been trading more with his opponents and although he is fast he is still getting hit. Cotto will land the big shots if Floyd decides to stay in the pocket. I do favor Floyd in this fight because of his natural ability but I wouldn't just throw in the towel just because it seems impossible. Any man can be beat if you have the right game plan. Look at how Hatton beat Kostya. He didn't want to take the chance of feeling Kostya's power so he smothered the man and took his advantages away. Theres ways to compensate for speed the question is does Cotto have the skills to adjust and does he have the proper trainer to help him implement such a plan (i.e. sparring with lighter faster opponents to be able to adjust to the changes in speed from the fighters he has been facing).
