Ronnie Nathanielsz you are an awful writer
Cmon Ronnie,
In an era when we are starving for good boxing writers...why do I need to read this ****? You clearly have not proofread the article a single time. You called Julio Cesar Chavez Jr "Jesus Chavez Jr" and you called Emanuel Stewart a Filipino ("there were many Filipinos, including Cotto's new trainer Emanuel Stewart..."). I know this isn't the NY Times but cmon son.
Then on top of that you go to the ends of the Earth to find some opinion from Moy Lainez (who is part of Team Pacquiao and therefore a Top Rank employee who cannot be considered partial) and couple it with Bob Arum's opinion (whose opinion is never partial) to try and convince us the fight was objectively close. In reality, Cotto had won every round. He more or less landed an equal number of punches in every round, and his punches did about 5x as much damage, plus he was the aggressor.
Ron Ron, I clicked on your article to read more about Arum's comment on Mayweather-Pacquiao, but in the end spent half an hour signing up and writing this response. Please make it worth my while by doing the following:
1. Proofread your articles at least once
2. Opinions are fine but at least substantiate them with more than quoting two biased observers
