Montreal's a great fight town. Good setup fight if the winner goes far in the tournament and faces Bute in Bell Centre after.

that is the question
it's not because Bute fills the place everytime he's fighting that Euro stars will do the same
to answer the question, I guess one would have to check how many seats were sold for Bradley-Holt which happened in Mtl
they would definitely have to put some local prospects on the undercard, and there are quite a couple that have a decent following even as prospects
Holt-Bradley did 7,153.
I have no idea how big the Bell Centre is though.
It looks like Andrade was on that card, and Gauthier and couple of Canucks/Quebecers.
Looks like Bute-Miranda did 13, 682.Last edited by Guest; 06-07-2010, 12:22 AM.Comment

Good to see it be in a neutral site, I think all should be from now since they starting to see the hometown advantage fighters are undefeated.interesting to see how the crowd will be since no Canadian fighters will be main event .Comment

Montreal is a weird place for this fight to take place, I don't think either one of them has a fanbase there whatsoever.
It just doesn't make sense that Sauerland would agree to this and not agree to fight in the US where both of them have fought before.Comment

If that Lemieux guy breezes through Ayala he could be ready in time to fight again by September. He's a promising undeafeated prospect with a great KO ratio. Should be a draw for the undercard. Or perhaps a stay busy fight for Andrade who loves fighting in Canada.
It should do 10,000 +. It's quite a big fight and its in the rockstar Bute's division.Comment
