I think he has a better chance against Paul Williams than he does against Martinez.

I don't like Cotto in a Williams matchup... Cotto doesn't have the defense to deal with 100 punches a round, and given roughly 7 inch height and 13 inch reach disadvantage, I don't think that fight ends well for Miguel at all.

I think Martinez beats him as well. Cotto's best bet is to hope Martinez, being 35, slows down during the fight enough to make him fight. Those middle rounds when Martinez slows down could make it a decent scrap. I'd still favor Martinez for sure, but I don't think he takes the same beating as a Williams fight.

It went down in the Cintron fight, because they wanted to box the first few rounds and heat it up in the middle rounds... They went into that fight with a different gameplan than normal, him and his trainer both discussed it.

Williams is too hittable. I can see Cotto getting a UD against Williams. I can also see Williams beating Cotto by chasing him around the ring and throwing 100's of punches. No way is it a easy fight for either.
Martinez cruises to a UD victory over Paul and Cotto though.
