Yeah Cotto really did a number on him. I expect that he'll have a lot of opponents down the road that'll look like that however.
Cotto should have had Maussa out of there earlier but he didn't jump on him like he should have after he dropped him with the straight right in the 3rd (i forget what round it was )
i dont know Cotto has been suprising me a lot lately. When he fought Pinto and some other bums i thought damn this Kid has a good defense cause he kept his hands real high. Then he fought Corley and got rocked over and over from a guy who cant punch and was 20 pounds lighter than him. But i was ok he still have those damn missles in his hands right? The he fights Muhammed Abdulaisuckrealbad and he hits this guy flush for 7 straight rounds with pure power punches and he couldnt knock the guy out, and this guy got KO by some bum Emmanuel Clottey who has 14 KO in his 28 fights.
I dont know maybe cause ya PR people hype your fighters way too much got me thinking this kid was the next Oscar, but then again hes still real young
I call it a KO when you swell someones eye shut so bad that they quit. Cotto was ****in that eye so bad that the man wanted no more. As for Cotto fighting Mayweather and winning stranger things have happened but if I was part of the Cotto decision making team I would sit back and wait to see what happens between Mayweather and Hatton.

Yeah Cotto is still learning, only 4 years as a pro and 24 years old...

well i mean wen clottey beat him. he just knocked him down, and since he can't speak english he got lost on the count and therfore got up a sec after time ran out on him. n mayb he couldn't KO the gy, but y does that matter when u beat him convincingly, and still beat him so he gives up?
That's quite a long sig, Riz. I thought I was in the galleries
Anyway, yeah Cotto really did a number on that guy. It's almost Vitali-like.
I know this might be something that should be discussed in another thread, but why do some people feel that Cotto should be in the waiting position and get the winner of Hatton and Mayweather? I mean if anything Hatton should be in that position, because he beat the true champ in that weight class. Cotto should fight Mayweather and the winner of that fight should fight Hatton.
