He was never afraid. Not sure if people remember this, but weeks before Margarito got in the ring with Mosley, Cotto sent Margarito a message, he said "Don't overlook Mosley". He said something of that sort, I still remember. BPP posted that on here, now if someone can find that article I'll give them 300K (First to post that link on here).

Just that I feel that Cotto is actually disgusted with the whole situation. To me, I don't think Cotto wants Margarito near him, not out of fear, but simply because he does not like the guy. Call it an excuse or whatever, but this is what I think.

I have no problem with him not fighting Margarito, the man should be banned to make an example. Wouldn't be bad for him to avenge the loss though.

yeah, 1/2 of me would love to see Cotto destroy marg in the ring and avenge the loss, but the other 1/2 agrees with Cotto... "he won't make another dime off me".

Let them have a rematch and put a closure on people accusing Margarito of cheating.
