Cotto would outbox him, then likely get hit big later on (maybe even sooner) and never recover.

Julian Jackson had been out boxed quite a few times, and then changed the entire fight with one punch. He was the epitome of knockout power. Maybe even more raw power than Hearns.

    Jackson by KO...

      Absolutely love this thread
Jackson stopped Norris, you're telling me Cotto's going to give him problems?

        Ugly night for Miguel.

Cotto doesn't end the fight on his feet like he did versus Margarito and Pacquiao.

When Jackson sparked guys it was scary. His opponents were out cold for minutes, not ten counts.

Cotto would give some problems when you consider his skill set and somewhat improved footwork. But Jackson would definitely knock him out, IMO, but he wasn't very skilled and could be out boxed.

Norris looked really good in the beginning, maybe because of his speed which was excellent, but Jackson just flattened him.

Oh don't get me wrong, Cotto was probably more skilled than him, but that was never what gave Jackson problems. Jackson's skills were basic, but solid - mostly geared at timing his shots.

Yeah, I think the speed VS Norris early on made the difference. Some UK fighter, can't remember his name, was out boxing him, until Jackson just destroyed him with one punch.

Herol Graham, one of the most devastating KOs of all time, probably top 3.

Terry Norris was an excellent fighter, but he had a terrible chin. That's a recipe for disaster against Julian Jackson.
