i have huge respect for cotto hes a hell of a fighter but he just aint beating any of the elites

Hes not beating the elites in any way, but Martinez and Williams doesn't deserve the elite status such as Pac/Mayweather.

He's not back because he was never gone he has the same flaws hes always had. Hes a very good fighter and not a great fighter. He beats up good fighters, but if you're good enough or have certain attributes(chin, pressure,power) you can beat him.

Not at all but the very best can all beat him. Hes a very good fighter a tough night for anyone at 147-154 but hes not the best of the best. Cotto is one of my top 2 current favorites but I understand his limitations. I lost big money on him against Margo because Cotto seems to be the more skilled but it showed if you can keep up the pressure and take the punches eventually he'll fold. Not very many people can take the punishment Margo took and keep coming.

It was a good win for Cotto especially when you consider he was coming off a tough loss.

Winning a title in another division against a top 10 154 pounder also makes it good.

cotto aint beats any of the 3 and should go fight spinks for another title and maybe fight angulo but those 3 are to much for cotto and he would get battered..last night he beat a one legged prospect with alot of heart but showed the same flaws imo..he stuck with the jab cause foreman had nohing to make his abandon it..letsnot get ahead of ourselves cotto isnt back

man kill this **** already. if it was manny it wouldve been all about his 8th title, 4get the rest. if it was floyd oh 42 tried 42 failed,4get the rest. since its cotto who's shot got a slim chance and too small schools him (even b4 the injury) now its overated. imo as a fan of boxing i didnt expect 100% turnaround but i was impressed with the improvement and if he stays with steward i will just improve more. cotto def looked much better technically then the clottey and pac fights.
