What I REALLY want is for Cotto to snatch the lineal MW Championship from Sergio Martinez....I want that fight more than any other for Miguel. He'd probably lose, but he's got a better shot against Martinez than any of the other top guys.

Plus, 4 weight champ and beating THE man at MW sounds really nice.

i think Cotto has a better shot at chopping down Williams, who will stand in front of Miguel, than a fight against a slick southpaw that will move and use angles

the last time a southpaw with angles fought Miguel......

Yea, to me what gave Miguel so much trouble was the combos Pac was throwing. Cotto would avoid the first 2 punches, but then get hit by punches 3, 4, and 5.

Martinez doesn't throw like that. He fights a much more measured pace and I think that would be more telling than the southpaw with angles....hopefully we shall see.

I just think Williams would eat everything Cotto has and come forward behind 1,000 punches. Cotto just can't handle that.

Cotto would have a chance at dictating the pace against Martinez, which is something he needs to do in order to be successful.

Well it is more appealing than Pac-Margarito, some people seem to think wieght mattered (maybe it did) so if Manny fights Cotto at Cotto's weight choice plus Cotto has a real trainer so maybe the fight would play out differently.

I don't really see it that way but it wasn't a bad fight and Cotto is a good enough champion to get a second shot if he wants one. I wouldn't be real excited because I think the fight goes the same way but I would not have a real issue with it (atleast aslong as they give a fight with Mayweather a real go anyways but even if they do the fight may still not come off).

I don't get why Pacquiao fans want this fight.
Is it just because Pacquiao wouldn't get a title from anyone else at 154?

You should want him to take on challenges. Not fight a guy he already beat convinsingly.

I, as a Cotto fan do not want this fight.
Cotto deserves something else. I would rather see him take a beating from Floyd because thats atleast a fight we havnt seen.

But for real, let the ******s be ******s.

Any true Cotto fan knows it's a pointless rematch, and any true Pac fan knows this as well. Pac SOUNDLY beat Cotto, **** a rematch.
Seriously. There's a better man out there, always. We can still be Cotto fans and Pac fans can be Pac fans.

Cotto can still shine on his own right.
