If Arum wanted anything, it would be for Yuri to be competitive in the fight enough so that he could still build something with him. Right now Yuri is probably headed back to undercards or Friday Night fights. With that injury who knows what is next. I bet he wanted Vanes or Chavez Jr to face off with him next as it would have been an interesting fight, Now those fights may be in jeopardy due to his bum knee. He could be sidelined for a while..

Cotto has made Arum so much money that Arum would never sabotage him. Yuri is not a money maker.
