    Can't believe Cotto's only 29 yrs old!

Man, I feel like the dude is already an old man in there. How many wars has he been? How many of the top elite fighters has he fought? At such a young age...I'm hoping Emmanuel Steward can fully restore Cotto's career with a more patient style for longevity. Sorta like Barrera who started out as an all out slugger, and became a patient assassin which gave his career new life. Imagine Cotto in there until the age Mosley is? Just how many more wars and big name fighters could he go through with nearly 10 more years of a career? Though he did say he would retire at 30 was it?

I didn't say Cotto was a slugger. I said Barrera was...BUT, Cotto had a very high tendency to go to war with opponents. If you don't think Cotto-Torres was a slugfest or against Margarito, I dunno what is. Sure, Cotto does show more boxing ability than his opponents in these wars, but that's because he is more polished fighter than they are. But he does like a good scrap. Which is nothing to knock against. It's one of reasons Cotto has been one of my favorite fighters for a long time.
