When Gatti's corner threw in the towel we had a close up view of Gatti refusing to take his mouthpiece out. KT quit with only 3min to go in the fight. thats why people say KT quit and Gatti's a warrior.
Hattons known as a bigger puncher then Mayweather, Tszyu must have taken harder shots for a longer period of time.
gatti didnt quit. mcgirt told him he had enough. gatti said "no, give me one more round." and by the time gatti was walking back to his corner, mcgirt already gestured that he was gonna end it.
i dont think either gatti or tszyu are quitters. their corners have more control over them in between the bells.

Thats what i said, neither fighter should be called a quitter.
they were both well beaten, i think gatti would have def gone out cold tho, PBF looked red hot last week it's gonna be a great fight if he ever fights hatton
I dont see the diffence in stoppages, IMO both fighters were too beaten up too continue so i wouldnt call either a quitter but there are some bias *******s on here who think its one rule for American based fighters and another the rest of the world.
Both Gatti and Tszyu took a lot of shots and looked hurt
Both sat down in their corners and their coaches decided enough was enough.
Neither man complained about the stoppage
The only difference was that Tszyu lasted longer and it turns out he had brain injurys.
SO WHY IS TSZYU A QUITTER AND GATTI A WARRIOR??
Gatti kept saying, "one more round," "one more round." Either way, I never considered KT's corner stoppage to be a quit. It's just like them throwing the towel in. It wasn't his decision, the corner made it for him.

I agree with you.
Yeah... I can't believe the dissrespect some people were giving Kostya Tszyu on here afterwards.
I think Kostya Tszyu's jaw was broken!
I guess some people just don't respect fighters even when they give it their all! ...

WRONG!! i guess you don't have audio in the corner over in the uk, but Gatti clearly stated at least 2 times that he wanted 1 more round, it was loud and very clear. nice try pal, talk about bias, open your ears brit
but there are some bias *******s on here who think its one rule for American based fighters and another the rest of the world.
Stop bitchin' already. Brits are more biased or as biased as anyone, so please stop this high and mighty bull****. Gatti asked to continue, Tszyu did NOT, and it's really that simple. I'm not even a fan of Gatti but you are straight up ignoring wtf Gatti said as opposed to what Tszyu said, and THAT is biased.
Get outta here.
Tszyu was the man and it's ok that he didn't want to continue, but you need to stop with this anti-American bull****. If you are so high and mighty then why come down to "our" level anyway?
