The fact is Pac's actually agreeing to something. Sad part is, it has nothing to do with the CURRENT "SITUATION".

the 14 day cut off is going above and beyond considering that floyd/mosley was an 18 day cut off.

the only issue is the 50/50 split, and 50% against pac is more than floyd can get fighting anyone else.

floyd has no excuse not to make the fight

How is that hard to see, seriously?
Let's take that chick in AVY(who I would def pipe) for example.

She wants to f#ck but with a condom on you say no I want f#ck raw. You turn her down to f#ck some other broad raw and the b1tch burn you. You then try to go back to the chick who wanted to f#ck you with 1.

      • this is hilarious... there will never be an end to this.
although pac has proven to be a huge draw by HIMSELF...
floyd has bragging rights for pulling bigger numbers with shane....
        plus, shane > clottey....
terms CANNOT be the same as initial march terms... so much has changed, and the balance of power switched.... in march, pac was the man. floyd HAD to agree to the terms.... but now, floyd is in a better bargaining position. PERIOD.

being UNBIASED, based off of both fighters' last fights:

        floyd/shane
        • floyd defeated bigger name opponent (+1)
        • floyd pulled 1.4m with HELP from shane (+1)
        • shane agreed to USADA, but proved the inconvenience of it (0)
        • floyd put on great performance against elite fighter (+1)

        pac/clottey
        • pac defeated no name fighter (0)
        • pac pulled 700k by HIMSELF, proved to be a huge draw ALONE (+1)
        • clottey not impressed with pac's power, no accusations of PEDs (0)
        • pac showcased tremendous action/conditioning against unwilling fighter (0)

based off of these points, floyd surpassed pac by fighting shane... this doesnt discredit anything pac has done, floyd just simply 1-upped him...
he has every right to ask for a bigger purse. as for USADA testing, most people think this is BS... floyd ISNT trying to clean up the sport, if he was, then he would be an ambassador and proactively promote USADA for ALL BOXING MATCHES, and when he retires he will continue to fight to keep boxing "clean".... but i think we ALL know that wont happen. USADA is just another tactic for floyd. there is no sincerity in it AT ALL.... if he is sincere, then we SHOULD all expect him to use USADA for all fighters under the mayweather promotions banner (if he had a stable of fighters).

personally, based off of cotto's & clottey's own statements, there is no reason to suspect manny of foul play.... neither fighter mentioned manny having UNWORLDLY punching power... manny's tenacity & punch output nullified their offenses the same way floyd's defense nullifies his opponents.

so USADA should be dropped, but to save face... floyd has to keep his stance firm.... although 14 day cutoff would prove pointless, if it makes the fight happen then why not????

i think 55/45 for floyd is fair, and 14 day cutoff will have to suffice....
just to get this damn fight to happen. LOL. floyd can negotiate to have his bodyguards in the ring with him if he is apprehensive about manny's "power". HAHAH.

          • Floyd is too hesitant.

PAC had 7 KNOCKOUTS / TKO's in the last 4 years while FLOYD had only 1 (with a guy smaller than him - Hatton) ... and FLOYD wonders why he didn't get FIGHTER OF THE DECADE...

It's common sense. Williams/Martinez will not bring as much as Mosley did. Team mayweather said themselves that this fight is the next logical move due to the MONEY involved
Its the next logical move with a fair deal buddy. And you're crazy if you don't think he'd do similar numbers with Williams and Martinez as he did with Mosley. The key to a successful Floyd Mayweather PPV is #1, having an opponent that his haters think will beat him. He brings a sure fan/haterbase of about a million, and the haters who pay to see him lose make up most of that million. They would pay to see him fight Williams or Martinez because a lot of people think he would lose to both of them. #2, he needs a match-up that the 500K or so hardcore households will embrace. The hardcore fans will embrace a match-up with either. That was the difference in the numbers between the fights with Msoley and JMM. He has his million that will buy redardless, but with JMM, he got almost no support from the hardcore fans. That's why he got 300K+ more buys with Mosley. Both those criterias fit with Williams or Martinez, so to think he wouldn't do similar numbers is crazy. The only reason he wouldn't is if he got a lot of backlash for not fighting Pac. And basically, there's no way to determine that without trial and era.

BTW, Mosley doesn't have a fanbase that mattered to the success of his promotion with Money.
