Foreman was on his way out man, just like Roy Jones said. Cotto had 5 rounds to land that body shot, and if he didn't he would have just kept landing his jab on that bloody nose anyway.

Cotto only fades when he's pressured. Against Judah and Malignaggi he turned it up in the late rounds because he was moving forward.

If you notice right before that 9th round started Cotto signal to the crowd that he was going to end it.It was the body shot that eventually got him down.

            How much you weigh?

and i agree, definintely the body shot that ended it. the shockwaves in yuri's body when the punch was landed was crazy, and when he was going down you could see him bring in his arm/elbow to cover it.
also, yuri had all his weight on his good knee, not the bad one. he went down on the good knee.

You guys act like his knee gave out on it's own. No Cotto had him working those legs overtime. Actually earlier in the fight, 5th round I think, Cotto made his knees buckle awkwardly from a shot. That was the beginning of Yuri's downfall. Just because Cotto did not land a big punch immediately preceding the first big fall, does not mean damage was not already done.

Pressure, Fatigue and Punishment made Yuri unwind.

Cotto was OUTBOXING foreman before he hurt his knee

Cotto landed the perfect left hook to the liver, was a beautiful shot.

At the end of the day it didn't matter if foreman hurt his knee or not he was going to lose anyway.

While it shouldn't be surprising that people here are bad talking Foreman, it sure is disgraceful.

The guy is a good fighter, not amazing but he is def a skilled fighter. He went out like a champ. I really hope his knee is ok because he could has a lot to offer the sport.

Cotto fought very well, his timing with the jab was great. No is going to look real good against foreman.

                    Unlikely.

He was catching up to him.

                    Yuri was somewhat slowing down.

He may have caught him later.

But I think its more likely that yuri would have survived to the final bell.
