Cotto is PUNCH DRUNK..will never pay to see him fight again!

Miguel Cotto, the puerto rican star is one of the best warriors boxing has seen since Gatti, Castillo, and Corrales. He is a fighter known to fight, and will fight anyone at anytime regardless of whats in his gloves or in his system.
But at some point in your career you gotta know when to call it quits.

Cotto is a shot, damaged fighter that is one fight away from desaster. He is one fight away from being scared for life and its sad to see threads like, Cotto vs Pac or Cotto vs Berto, Mayweather, Martine etc will be good for Cotto at 154.

For those of us who study boxing knows that Foreman is not on the same caliber as any of the names listed. For example if Cotto vs Pac II does take place it will be no different this Cotto vs Pac I. 154 is only 7 lbs away from 147 and all Pac has to do is come in at 150, the same way Floyd did with Oscar. Pac will retain his speed and cotto will be heavier thus slower in exchanges with Pac.

Pac, Floyd, Berto, Martinez would turn cottos world upside down and I would hate to see Cotto end up like Roach or Ali. Cotto has the heart but his body won't let him fight on that level anymore. Cotto can continue to fight lesser opponents like foreman and I will respect him for that, but to get in the ring with a fighter other then that is complete suicide!

And being a shot fighter has nothing to do with age. Its the amount of battles youve been in. Margarito, Clottey, & Pac have taken everything from cotto except his name!

I agree with him being a great fighter etc, And I'm not ****ting on your opinion. But I don't think he's anywhere near as bad as your making it out to be, to be completely honest. I think he still has a lot left in the tank.

no one putting a gun to his head, he fights coz he likes making millions, thats right millions unlike you and me. You mentioned Pac rematch, maybe Pac KOs him again but this time he wont fight a drained version of Cotto that's for sure.

Post one single shred of evidence that Cotto is shot. I dare you. 2 losses and you're completely shot?

          Give me a break.

He's getting older and doesn't fight like when he was young. So what. He knocked out a guy who ran the whole night and didn't want to get knocked out, that's an accomplishment.

What do you mean post evidence that Cotto is shot?? Did you see how Cotto fought before he fought Margarito? He was a "walk you down" type fighter. he walked all his opponents down and took everything from them. Cotto vs Margarito, cotto became the guy who was walked down. THat did something to him mentally and physically damaged him. Cotto vs Clottey again cotto gave in to a much lesser opponent being walked down again. Then he turned around to face Pac and was walked down again. Pac snatched cottos heart, will, and soul on hbo. Cotto took a 12 round beating that shoul've been stopped in the 8 th round. Cotto vs Foreman was a confidence builder for cotto and frankly it wasnt good enough. No matter how much confidence cotto gets a lil pressure and will from his opponent will send him back peddling and giving in to the assult.

Cotto is a good fighter and gave us great fights. His time has come you have to accept that.

It's been discussed and it's a common misconception on boxingscene. He always mixed up his attack.
