ESPN has done a ****ty job of reporting this fight.

I was just hoping they would show a little more, show the heart and will of Foreman. But they didn't even report the end of the fight right. Last night, long after the fight was over, it still said that Cotto had won because a towel was thrown in the ring. And they barely made it seem like there was high drama. I know Foreman really didn't have a chance but atleast he gave his all and made it a great event at Yankee Stadium.
And they only showed like 10 second clip on sports center. Didn't show any footage of Yuri trying to scrap right after he ****ed up his knee.

Blame HBO. They REFUSEEEEE to give more than a small snippet to ESPN. Did you see the reel HBO gave to ESPN for Mayweather-Mosley? It was disgusting how little of the fight they were given

Yea that too I guess. Didn't think about that. Yea it ******, it would help the sport much more. They could have given clips of Foreman hobbling along trying to exchange with Miguel.

the fight was hyped pretty good, i saw alot of clips on Fox news (only channel showing at work) and it got alot of NY press

but I think everyone was let down by the outcome and everyone outside of boxing moved on

I kinda wish ESPN would just cover boxing more, not just the big name fighters. But I guess that is not the world we live in haha. I mean I know they have friday night fights on 2. But they never even show highlights from that or mention it on regs ESPN, even when there is a great fight.
