I think it's the general impression that we all got. Just as he wanted Pacquaio to beat Cotto as well.

Miguel Cotto has a way bigger fan base than Yuri Foreman would ever have.

Arum makes so much more money off of him than he ever would with a guy with Foreman's style.

From a business standpoint, I am sure Arum is pleased as punch Cotto won.
Maybe he was hoping for a Cotto/Margarito type situation, where even in a loss Miguel Cotto is still somewhat a big name attraction, and retains some of his fan base, while Yuri Foreman with a win goes on to build his own name and builds his fan base.

I cannot stand Bob Arum. His a money grabber who doesnt give a **** about his fighters.

He has made alot of people dislike Manny because of his lies and keeping all the money inhouse(only having top Rank fighters fight each other).

there is a reason Floyd and Oscar and so many others left him. His a parasite

Cotto was damaged goods as far as Arum was concerned....sure, one more big fight for Cotto but he already has 2 losses and was perceived to be on the downslide of his career. Foreman was still undefeated and was on the upside so Arum likely would have preferred a Cotto loss so he could continue to build Foreman into a star.

Arum uses Cotto as a sacrificial calf for big money fights......he would break his back for Pac though, lol

Everything you just said can be pointed in the direction of other promoters as well. Bob my be bad, but he is not the lone bad guy in the sport...That's just upsurd.

I doubt Arum wanted Foreman to win. Cotto has a larger fan following from his people. Foreman not so much..

Cotto makes more money for Arum and considering the possibility of a Cotto vs. Pac 2 rematch, im sure Arum had that planned all along..
