What Max said is true....IF Cotto doesn't wanna get his ass whooped by better fighters, he can make fights at the Stankee Stadium worth people's money with his name alone and make a good amount of money doing so.

I like Max, 1,000,000 times better than that racist coward Larry Merchant. Max tells it like it is and doesn't just keep fighter's penis in his mouth like Manny Steward and George Foreman. He is the only Commentator that tells the truth about Freddie Roach's "match making" for his fighters. Anywho, the thing that bothers me about Max is his EYES and his herpes lips!

Dibella is the last one that should talk. This guy hasn't built a ticket seller since Jermain Taylor.

Dibella is the king of signing cheap fighters and trying to make a quick dollar off them. Haymon got Berto HBO dates against bums for years, and Dibella still couldnt turn him into a ticket seller.

Sounds like Kellerman was just trying to save Cotto from the Manny Pacqiaou effect. But why? Setting up fighters like Cotto to be a crutch for younger and more dangerous fighters has always been a part of the sport.

Why does Cotto deserve special treatment?

If Cotto isn't going to step it up, he needs to get the **** out of the ring.

What Max was basically saying is that if Cotto chose not to fight the tough opponents he would still be a draw because of his name alone. He didn't say he shouldn't fight them.

At ths stage in his career, cotto should maybe fight 1 more big fight and get out of the sport. He didnt look great against foreman and his face got marked too easily against his light hitting opponent.

I think that Kellerman was trying to say that more fights for Cotto on an elite level might lead to permanent damage. I can respect that. Dibella should understand considering he backed out of promoting Jermaine Taylor.

i believe cotto is the #1 best selling boxer in nyc. kellerman means he can sell regardless who he fights. he will be supported regardless who he faces.
