I would like to see this fight. Gives cotto more time to settle into the things he's working on with Emmanuel before his camp challenges someone more dangerous
Cotto beats Berto, at 147 or 154, Cotto isn't shot, he isn't finished, he wasn't weight drained at 147...they think it's an unnatural weight for him after Pac beat him at 145, that's just nonsense (and more importantly, just people who try to discredit Pacs performance) - I'm proud of Cotto, he fought correctly. Berto most likely will put forth a more aggressive effort to Cotto at 147 than did Foreman at 154, but I still see Cotto winning by decision. Its an interesting fight...if all other fights don't happen for Cotto, but he has lots of options now, he's riding high on his impressive victory...
Note: Arum will try to match Cotto with Margarito at Dallas Cowboys Stadium - Cotto will most likely deny, I'd understand why, but I'd like to see this fight. Also, I'm happy this fight took place at Yankee Stadium, its a new venue, boxing is once again expanding outside of Vegas, creating opportunities for big boxing events elsewhere.
Really, I only see Cotto taking on $$$ fights. At this stage I think he knows he doesn't have much time left. The only ppl I see him trying to make a fight with are Pac,May, or maybe Margs.
Personally I think Cotto will challenge Paul Williams. I think Paul Williams is overrated, people in this forum makes P. William looking like a boxing god when hes really a sloppy fighter.
