Im a Cotto fan and Im glad he won but you have to give Foreman credit, he has heart and you have to feel for him gettin injured. Good to see Cotto back and good job by Mercante for not stopping thre fight.

I wouldn't mind seeing Cotto vs Pac again if they Floyd figh aint happening... he did well in the first 2 rounds he boxed in, with Steward sorting him out a little i think it can be a lot closer.

Wow Yuri Foreman is a tough guy. I don't take back what I said about him before this fight, but he certainly showed what he's made of. Great stuff by Cotto out there before the injury and after. Unfortunate that the injury occurred, hopefully Foreman bounces back strong.

Cotto is damn impressing me so far.


OT: Is it me or did Cotto just drop since stance to one similar to Hearns' old stance for a few seconds, right hand by chin and left arm slowly swinging by hip ilike a scythe .

He has always done that. That's why he kept getting hit by Pac's left hand, because he kept doing that ridiculous defensive posture. Unless you're as skilled as Hearns and as quick you will get hit a lot using it and Cotto gets hit a lot.

Anyway, good victory. I feel bad for Foreman. I really the guy comes back better and uses this as a learning curve. Jumping straight from ok fighters to Cotto was always going to be hard. He did very well at certain points but couldn't sustain a winning formula for longer than a round or two.
