"If I didn't feel recovered," Cotto said, "if I didn't feel good, I [wouldn't] be here."
"We trained pretty good for this fight," Cotto said. "We came with a new mind for this fight, and we're just waiting for the night of the fight to see what Yuri can bring, and I'm more than 100 percent sure we'll be the new WBA champion."
"I'm going to feel like a Yankee," Cotto said on a conference call with reporters. "Like Alex Rodriguez, like Derek Jeter."
"He is with me," Cotto said. "He is not here physically. He is still by my side and he is going to be with me the night of the fight."
"Boxing is business and it made business sense to go up to 154 pounds to fight Foreman," Cotto said. "If the opportunity of a great fight comes at 147 and it makes business sense we will go back, but for now it's about winning a world title...
"We are waiting for the night of the fight to show and prove to everybody what we have done in the gym," Cotto said, again sidestepping the issue. "And the fans are going to love it."
"I never really had a problem to reach 147 pounds. Boxing is a business. If we have a better opponent at a lower weight, we can always go back to 147 without a lot of trouble," Cotto said.
"My balance was awful before this camp, and it's much better," Cotto said. "We can throw punches and stay on balance. That's one of the things we've worked on in this camp."
