I dont know about cotto, but Vargas had trouble keeping and dropping weight, plus tons of outside distractions. Cotto took his time climbing the ranks.

I don't think Cotto is shot but if he is, is really nothing like Vargas because Vargas was done as an elite fighter at 24 or something like that and Cotto is going to be 30 soon.

He's been through some wars, yes, but I don't think he's finished. Tonight should prove how much he has left. If he's still near his peak, he should stop Yuri.

Cotto was supposed to be the next great fighter and he fell way short of that.

Cotto is equal to a 300 lbs Vargas? I don't think Cotto is shot just yet, he's just always had the same flaws and people have picked up on them. Hopefully his technique will improve otherwise he will be shot very soon.

Vargas abused his body just like Ricky Hatton.

Cottos current weakness is a mental thing.
Maybe he can get past it.
