I could see a scenario where he fights once a year now. He is getting older and he has never been the most active guy out there. It was really rare that you saw him fight 3 times a year. I think he only did it twice since 2000.

I can see him taking the Hopkins route fight once a year to make sure you have more of a longevity while also making Oscar type of money.

I doubt that he would be gone for two years. But, I wouldn't be shocked if he did. But, I could see a high possibility where he takes the rest of this year off and fights again next year.

Or I could easily see Floyd fighting Pac later this year. I mean who knows?

I think it's a negotiating tactic so that he can negotiate for more money and maybe force pac to agree to RANDOM drug testing meaning NO cut off date. We'll see though. Maybe he's mad at how the negotiations are going too? Who knows. But I'd be shocked if he took 2 years off especially at his age. He's what 33 now?
