      So, which is it?

He knows what hes talking about, or hes just a **** talker?

I love how his stans swing from side to side like a pendulum depending on what he says.

Or maybe some people just possess the ability to view shades of grey and think dynamically? Nice job pulling quotes straight out of your ass too.

People are more gullable than I thought. No way in hell Floyd retires now. It's just not going to happen.

Or, maybe, some people just like to flip flop depending on what the guy says.

          Yea, I'll go with that.

          Heres an example.

"Everyone knows the Phillipines has the best PEDs, we need an even playing field". GO FLOYD, You're a Mayweather, you know the ins and outs of boxing.

"I'm probably going to take some time off" Aw, don't worry about what Floyd says, hes always bull****ting.

I don't think the prospect of him bluffing to angle some negotiation leverage or just plain antagonise people is really tantamount to what I'm assuming you believe is an outright malicious lie in the Pacquiao accusation anyway. And ain't it possible he, like everybody else, is capable of both lying and telling the truth when it suits him?

I wouldn't say never in the sport of boxing, but that does seem rather unlikely.

What point are you even trying to make here?

Either his fans believe his words or they don't.

                Perfect examples
"We need an even playing field" - "Floyd is the truth, he knows boxing"
"I might retire" - "oh who cares, hes just talking crap"

Depending on what he says, they flip flop.

Thats the bottom line. Why can't they just be real and acknowledge hes on some bull****?

                Its not hard to do.
The thing is, many post as if they are Mayweather trying to justify each and every word he says.

I don't think his fans share a collective consciousness. And to be honest a lot of Mayweather fans seem to adopt their defensive, apologist attitudes in response to the non-relenting assault they and their chosen sporting idol are subjected to around here. Threads like this will probably serve only to strengthen their zeal rather than afford them some epiphany of the error of their ways and free them to assume a new, more objective and stoic demeanor. Just saying...
