No one person is bigger than the sport. Boxing did great when Floyd was gone. It didn't miss a beat.

Boxing was here before Pac and Floyd and will be here after Pac and Floyd.

IMO boxing the greatest sport right now.

And, it will be the greatest sport in the World when both these divas retire.

This is biggest nuthugging statement one could make. Fans of the sport will keep this alive long after Floyd and Manny is gone. There'll always be a new crop of talent ready to take over the top spot. And with all this young talent coming up, as a boxing fan, how the **** could anyone claim this BS?

Continuing on the post above...they said the same thing about Mayweather, then came Manny Pacquiao.

When Manny and Floyd leave, somebody will become the next spectacle. They're trying to get Khan to be the next one, but I highly doubt it. If he beats Maidana or any of the best 140 guys, then maybe.

Boxing may end and begin with Floyd Mayweather for you, but there is more to boxing than just Floyd so get the **** out of here. Boxing doesn't need groupies, it needs fans. Something you definitely are not.

true but each time a star leaves, there is that period of boxing depression.

Boxing did fine when Mayweather retired the first time. So don't worry, you'll get over it.
