Agree 100%. Floyd ain't nothing but a ducker. Who takes a year off from fights he's won convincingly? I can't remember anybody else doing that in boxing!

        Forgot to say,

Whitaker and Leonard aren't Floyd's contemporaries, FWIW. They are fighters from previous eras/generations.

I'm a huge Whitaker fan, so I don't need to school myself in his body of work. Whitaker and Leonard's career trajectories and fight catalogues are utterly unalike, too, LOL.

Each man has forged their own distinct Legend, with Floyd continuing to do so for as long as he remains active.

Well Whitaker is a similar fighter, thats the better word to use I think. I just put him in my post to show that floyd currently, does not match up to him.

That was not my argument. The context was the greatness of whitaker, in relation to the thread topic. Floyd's a cheap "plastic" rip off in comparison.

We can make a separate thread about fantasy matches.
