I personally think that's his way of not answering questions about the pac fight. He supposedly retired before fighting hatton. Duke has a funny way promoting fights. He makes everyone mad at him to where they want to pay to see him get his azz whipped.

Floyd cant escape from Pac`s reality. He will have to contend with the slander case and disgruntled fans. Not so easy, he can run but not hide.

Floyd retired when 147 got hot. He robbed us of seeing great fights against cotto, a non shot shane, paul williams and margarito.


Really I won't be surprised if he retires to avoid fighting pacquaio.

At this point he'd really have nothing to lose from fighting Pac, and everything to gain. If he retires now, everyone would hate him. If he loses to Pac, his legacy would take a hit, but he'd still be respected for taking the most challenging fight available and for what he's done. But if he won...well say hello a well deserved spot on the ATG list.

And not to mention the huge paycheck Floyd would get from fighting him, regardless what the outcome is. This is why I believe the fight will happen now. Floyd is known for saying ****** s**t when he's caught off guard in an interview, and I doubt the world would let him take a few years off again anyways.
