Prime Hopkins or YOUNG hopkins?

I consider older bhop to be a bit more prime simply because he knows more.

A young hopkins though looks to go to war, and this fight ends up being a classic.

Hagler would out work an old Hopkins. Young Hopkins I think the fight would have as much action as Mosley vs De La Hoya I.

That being said, I think Hagler would win comfortably on points. 8-4.

I honestly believe we never saw "Prime Bernard Hopkins" because his skills and physical peaks were never at same time. If they were, His competiton wasn't good enough to show. He like Lennox Lewis in the sense that he reach his peak skill wise once he was leaving his physical prime.

A skilled level hopkins from trinidad till Pavlik, combined with the physically peak hopkins from 28-32 would pull it off I think. Only prob is young hopkins isn't as crafty and skilled as old but old one didn't have the pop and legs of the young one.
