I dont think Williams is a better pressure fighter than Margarito. Margarito will make u walk backward. while Williams kinda stand in front of you throwing punches

Be honest to yourself, if you have seen Miguel's flaws and his leaky defense, how can that withstand Williams' 80 punches per round pressure? Even if Williams takes a couple of rounds to adjust how can Cotto deal with the physical aspect that Williams will bring too, 6'2 and 80" reach along with the fact that even if he's getting hit he don't stop throwing punches.

The key to beating Williams is lots of lateral movement to reduce his volume and crisp counter punches for every sloppy punch that he throws in route to a decision or late stoppage if such boxer had some pop...that doesn't sound like Miguel Cotto to me, that sounds more like Mayweather...

In other words he thinks Cotto beats Williams and I agree.
i agree too if cotto improves with steward in his corner. cotto is on another level above williams if he improve his flaws

yes miguel's flaws gives paul the advantage over him but the cotto (pre-plasterito) destroys paul. paul would last longer than quintana but wont make it the distance, cotto would break his ribs.

Sugar has some odd views and his predictions on fights are not all that great.

I think Williams is a bad match-up for Cotto and always will be. Maybe Steward is a magic elixer for Cotto but I have to see it against Williams to believe that.

IMO it's a bad match for Cotto especially at this stage.

I thought the same hermano boricua, but after seeing that brutal beatdown in hands of Margarito I knew the same would happen against Williams, but yeah I always used to think that Cotto's relentless body attacks would break down P-Will to make him fold late in the fight but that was before he lost his soul to Margarito.

Where did this myth come from? Paul cant take body shots? Since when?

Also Cotto said it was impossible to get to Margs rib cage so how do you think he will get to Pauls bro?

I like both fighters but I do think Williams work rate would give him SERIOUS Problems especially if Cotto still has stamina issues, tomorrow will be a great test to see how good Cotto's stamina is at 154 because if he gets tired against Williams the fight would turn ugly

I think a lot of people are jumping off the Williams bandwagon too soon, I don't even think we have seen the best of Paul Williams just yet
