What's so great about Amir Khan?

He is fast and decently sharp.

He just gets fed Ws, which I hate. I would give him a bit more respect if they didn't force Paulie to quit. They were trying to coerce Paulie into quitting but Paulie said fuck them and went out to fight. When that didn't work, they got the ref to stop it, when Paulie wasn't even getting beat up that bad. Sure, the jab was effective, but I have never seen a fight stop because a guy kept getting hit by jabs.

They only stopped it so it can look good on Khan's record. So they could say "Hatton(corner stoppage) and Cotto couldn't get the ref to stop it, but Khan did!" Which is bull****, not to mention he is also trying to fight career lightweights at JWW.


When Khan fights a jww with power, he will get royally ****ed. Maidana, Ortiz, even Holt. I can see them catching Khan on the way in because Khan drops his hands when punching like a MMA fighter.

Love how you blast Khan....yet are all over Yuri's nuts....

Let's see...Khan was KOd by Prescott...yet is now under the tutelage of Roach....obviously Roach sees something in Khan, GBP has Khan under their banner, so GBP sees something in Khan.....what you choose to remember and hold onto is that he was caught with a lucky shot. Give Khan a few more fights, and he'll be unifying the JrWW division....

Now onto to Foreman....what fights have you seen other than the Santos fight to classify Foreman as a "rising star"? He has very good boxing instincts, good technique and good stamina.....has HE been tested yet? No....Yuri actually reminds me of a JrMW Paulie.....virtually identical stats....

I don't see Khan beating Alexander or Bradley. Those two are the best guys at 140 in my opinion. Khan is protected too much and i don't see GBP putting him with those guys anytime in the near future. They will feed Khan old washed up names and non punchers for a while. They want to make their money out of the kid. I give Khan credit for wanting to fight the best guys out there, but Roach and GBP won't allow it.

nah course not, im fron the uk anyways. in fairness i thought the interview after the malignaggi fight was a good one, but the ones in the build up where he saying about fighting may and pac pissed me off. he needs to focus on unifying 140, if he can, then he'l be at the level of thinking about a fight like that. and more important will have earned the right to talk seriously about a fight like that. i dont blame him for his ambition, but wheres he at now a fight like that should be nowhere near his radar
