    Gatti vs Sugar Shane

What does everyone think of the chances of this one going off? Thing is Mosley to some might seem to be way too much of a test for Gatti at this point but he wasn't all that impressive in his first fight back at welter, which either means he's lost a step or at the very least it looks like he's lost a step, which would make him a more tempting target for Gatti's people.

I could see Mosley wanting to take this one as a tune-up for a title shot, and Gatti certainly doesn't back down from any challenges, and is probably looking to get at least one good payday before calling it quits. Just seems to me that when you work in all those factors this one has a chance of happening.

I could see Shane taking the fight because he needs a couple more fights at welter before facing the big guys. IMO Gatti should retire though.

Bro, I think Sugar Shane- Gatti is going to be a good fight. IMO it might be too "early" for Gatti to retire. ( ignoring his age)

I think Gatti wins, Gatti was doing well before he faught Floyd. Shane hasn't done well since 2003...if that.

Another good point. Shane hasn't been able to "deliver" what was expected of him since 2003. Is it just because Winky Wright is "so much better"?

I think it had to do with the fact Shane can't beat Wright and Forrest south paw styles but I think he is shot now. I think alot go drained out of Shane over last couple and he doesn't have much left.

Hard to say...he looked terrible in his first fight at welter, yet a lot of people still seem to believe in him. I guess it will take another fight to know for sure, but it starting to seem like suicide to come back down in weight when you get to be too old...just ask Roy Jones.

I could see Gatti winning this and then everyone talking about his next great comeback.

Mosely will dstroy Gatti, they are on completely different levels...Gatti should fight in Atlantic City against C level guys and then maybe build up to a fight with another paper champo and then get out...there is still money to be made for thunder as long as Pat Lynch matches him up right, but...Avoid Shane-There is no way Gatti beats Mosely.

Regardless of the outcome I think Gatti is going to be looking for somebody worthwhile when he moves up. I mean, how many fights does he have left in him? Zab and Margarito are out of the question, and Shane at the moment looks beatable...of course whether or not he actually is that beatable is open to debate.
