BoxingScene.com has been advised that an agreement is close to being finalized for a middleweight clash between hot prospect Fernando Guerrero (18-0, 15KOs) and the always difficult Ishe Smith (21-4, 9KOs). Guerrero was scheduled for a ShoBox date of June 25, but I've been told the Guerrero-Smith bout will head to a date of July 16 in Memphis.

He stopped Walker when nobody else could. If he stops Smith it really makes Guerrero look very good and Jacobs look very average IMO.

Ishe Smith is overrated and never throws any punches. Guerrero should swamp him and beat him the same way Julio did.
